YellowBridge CEO Penny Hamilton celebrates the news with Toowoomba Toyota Dealer Principal Brett Motton
The wheels on the YellowBridge QLD disability bus will continue to turn after Toowoomba Toyota renewed its sponsorship for another 12 months.

Today marks one year since Toowoomba Toyota donated the exclusive use of a HiAce van with specially fitted wheelchair ramp to the community organisation.

Dubbed the ‘happy bus’, the van is essential to the YellowBridge Disability Support Program who use it to transport clients to social outings and appointments.

“Our clients love the van and it has become so invaluable to our disability service and how we can support our clients in the community,” YellowBridge Chief Executive Officer Penny Hamilton said.

“We are extremely grateful to Toowoomba Toyota for their ongoing support as our exclusive vehicle sponsor,” she said.

The vehicle is used every day for all sorts of excursions and trips such as to the doctor, shopping centre, bowling alley, parks and cafes.

It even takes their Disability Outdoor Group on fishing and camping expeditions and delivers clients to YellowBridge’s boutique op shop, Collectables, and the men’s shed.

As part of the partnership, Toowoomba Toyota also sponsors a company vehicle that helps YellowBridge staff continue its work in the local community.

Dealer Principal Brett Motton said Toowoomba Toyota was pleased to re-sign its partnership with YellowBridge.

“We take our business and social responsibilities very seriously and supporting the local community through partnerships like this one is important to us,” Mr Motton said.

“Supporting others is part of our business DNA and it is our way of showing our gratitude to the local community for their ongoing support of Toowoomba Toyota.”
